First Summer Golf Tourney

Nathan played in a nine hole event this week in Oakland. He really had a great time and met some fellow players that live in our area that he will be able to join at some future tournaments. The hilly course played tough but he managed three pars in the round. He is looking forward to playing again when we get back from our camping trip.

Ryan's Guitar Class Says Goodbye at Recital

Ryan's and (fellow teacher and good friend) Ray's after school guitar class had their recital last night and they all said good bye to Ryan with a "Mr. Holt Rocks" t-shirt and many thanks!

The 5th and 6th graders performed guitar solos and duets based on what they had learned over the last 1-2 years in the after school class. Family and friends were invited to the "Guitar Club Cafe" recital in the school library where they served up plenty of entertainment, coffee and goodies.

Goodbye kindergarten.....

Sadie had her kindergarten celebration this morning. Her class put on a little program for their families. They sang songs (in sign language too) and at the end they were 'shooting stars' running down the tunnel shooting off to 1st grade. She's excited to be a first grader.

Catch me if you can

Jeremy finds something up his sleeve while practicing baseball with Dad in the backyard. He really enjoys catching those fly balls as he caught two in his game on Saturday!
