Snow day!

We took a day off and went to find some snow last week. We hopped in the car and just drove. We stopped at a small general store in a tiny town about an hour east of Salem and asked the lady behind the counter if she knew of someplace we could play in the snow. She directed us to their city park completely covered in snow. It was great! The girls had a great time....we didn't really have all the snow gear but we made sure they had some good gloves so they were fine. We did some good sledding and even made a snowman. They soon discovered that making a snowman isn't as easy as their books make it look.

Miss Edie Sedgwick Holt!!!

There is anew addition to the new Holt family! She is a 13 week old Miniture Pincher named Edie ( after Andy Warhols muse Edie Sedgwick ) She has turned the dagwood house upside down! Gary the dog does not want ANYTHING to do with her, but we think he is just playing hard to get....Between the 4am wake ups, and the constant cleaning up after her, its a wonder any of us are sane!!!! She loves to bite on kirks beard, and to eat my shoes ( this is gonna be an issue I think) Can't wait for you all to meet her!
