First Day of School

New clothes, new shoes and new haircuts....they are ready!!! Sadie says her new shoes are "just like Aunt Liz's" and Abby calls this her "Ginny Weasely dress" (from Harry Potter) and Sara likes her dress because "it's blue". I can't believe I have a 4th, 2nd and 1st grader!!!

The Summer of the Treehouse

Project Treehouse started on June 28th. Uncle Dave stayed the weekend and they were able to get the foundations all up.....so exciting!!!

We were pretty busy this summer so work on the treehouse was slow and steady. Whenever Ryan had a free day or afternoon, he'd strap on his toolbelt and head on up that ladder. The railing went in next. We decided to close in two of the sides out of respect for the neighbors (and we had a good talk with the girls about manners and being good neighbors....."No looking in houses ")

Uncle Zack came and helped out when Ry was putting the shingles on. He held the ladder and kept a steady supply of shingles ready for Ryan......while I was in charge of using the jigsaw (on the ground)....

Grandpa came over to help some afternoons and on the final Saturday. We put up the last and trickiest side of the roof (tricky because of how close we are to our neighbors fence)... After the roof was finally done Ryan put the finishing touches on and exactly 2 months after it began........ Project Treehouse was completed!!!!

Thanks so much to Grandpa and Grandma for making this possible and to all our friends and family who lended their time and expertise....and ladders. And to Ryan,....it's awesome!! I'm so proud of your vision and perseverance.....and that you love your girls soooo much that you would do this for them! I'm so lucky!

SWIMMING LESSONS 2010

The girls are in swimming lessons again this year. Sadie has really gotten some great one on one lessons and has turned into a great swimmer and she loves it! Abby is so brave and is having fun and Sara is not to excited about it all but is tolerating it...for us!

Day in San Francisco

We had a super fun day in San Francisco. The girls loved the Golden Gate Bridge!!! And it was sooo cool that the Malletts could come and meet us for a ballgame!

Hi Everyone!!!
Well we have had a big week and it's only Wednesday!!! Sloane turned 1 1/2 yesterday and we celebrated with a half size cake for her half year b day :) Daddy got one too, but I ate both of them :) Sloane also started her big girl daycare/mini preschool today!! Sloane did so well, but I cried all day. This was a lot harder than I thought! We are so excited for her to be at this awesome school. She will be learning so much and meeting so many new friends. Now Ive just gotta find a way to STOP CRYING!!! Sloane loves her baby and loves pushing her around in a stroller. She's so big!!! We love you all!!!

Glasses and Artwork

Sadie and her new glasses. We finally took some pictures of Sadie and thought you all should see how cute she looks in them :) We tried on all the frames and these ones just looked like Sadie. She loves having them and is really good about keeping them in the case.

This was Sumpter's Art Night. It was fun walking through the school and seeing all the students artwork. We had to search for Sadie, Sara and Abby's artwork......like a treasure hunt.
